Battle of the Bands 2005

It's that time of year again...

It goes without saying that the HDLMA's annual Battle of the Bands competition just keeps getting bigger and better every year, and it seems this year is to be no exception. Once again, the competition will be spanning the best part of 3 months and will be sure to include many new acts, as well as some Horsham BOTB veterans.

This page is here to provide you with all the information you need. Rules, entry forms and details of this years prizes can be found at the bottom of the page. The line-ups and running orders for each of the heats will be added here as and when they become available.

One thing is for certain; there is no better place to be on a Sunday evening during the months of September, October and November...!

Prizes

The prizes for Battle of the Bands 2005 are as follows:

Originals, First Place = Cheque for £500, day in a recording studio & 2 free rehearsals @ QM Studios.
Originals, Second Place = Cheque for £100
Originals, Third Place = Cheque for £50

Covers, First Place = Cheque for £100, free use of PA for 2 gigs plus guaranteed support slots at a future Alliance gig night.

Songwriters Section, First Place = Cheque for £100

"Spirit of the Competition" award - £25 for the individual artist or musician who most impresses the judges with their ability, talent, attitude, star quality or whatever the judges see fit.
