I've been snooping around this place for a while and have been to dozens of the gigs organised by HDLMA over the last two years. For what you're all doing, i salute you!
Some of you may well have heard of SPiT LiKE THiS... or may wear offensive clothing from their store 'smellyourmum'. They are based closer than you think but often venture off to random venues around the UK. They have a number of EPs out including the lastest 'Sleaze sells.... but who's buying?" which did immensly well on amazon and the UK rock chart... #1 and #8, can't remember which way round! They play a type of music which I personally (someone of a broad and varying music taste!) havn't come across before, the reason for this is because there IS no one like them. They're glam, goth, rock, punk, metal... blah, blah.... they're fucking awesome.
To cut the crap, i'm trying to get information for them to play a date at the ET bar. I know there's a lot of people who would like them but may not have had the chance to catch them live... and have consequently missed out!
Ultimately, any information possible would be much appreciated in getting this gig underway. They may also require support. So if there are any contact details out there that anyone is willing to share, it would be appreciated very muchly. Don't hesitate to email or add me yelyah_57@hotmail.com if you want to know anything more at all about the band.
Many thanks,
Hayley :)

PS. any big guys around here who are interested can contact the man behind it all, the frontman and godfather of the SLT universe, Zion, directly via zion@spitlikethis.com

And if all goes to plan Used Inc. and LoKi (if andy speaks to the rest of the band) will be supporting.

Ok, i gave them a listen despite the fact the lead singer has named himself 'zion' (from the planet 'zargon' no doubt, or something equally ridiculous and 'crazy')

Frankly, (bein Frank) i shouldn't have bothered. Or am i missing the joke?

Excuse me!! The lead singer's actual name is Zion as a matter of fact, and it always has been! *slaps your wrist!*
....
What did you think?

They don't float everyone's boat, doesn't mean they're crap. What track/s did you listen to? Just the 'trick or mistreat' trailer? Try 'dragged kicking and screaming' or 'not dead yet'. :)

They do pull in a pretty good crowd though. And hey, LoKi might be there!

(And used inc. everyone loves used inc.)

I've always wanted to crack that joke, but I can't since I'm not called frank. Thankyou for doing so, you've made my evening.

When I was a nipper (back in November 1991) I blacked out at a Skid Row gig (SebASTIAN!!!!!! Wooooooooo!!!) and woke up on a bed in the St. Johns Th'ambulance Tent next to Zion. He had bleach blonde hair back in them days, and I think someone had bashed him on the nose. He seemed like a nice chap though. I went to see them play in someone's back garden in Ifield not long afterwards and it was cool... well, fucking freezing actually. I didn't realise they were still around.
