PA Hire

The HDLMA have a high-quality, professional PA System available for hire, which was purchsed in November 2000 with money that was secured from a National Lottery grant.

PA hire is available to all HDLMA members at a cost of £40 plus a £10 deposit - this deposit is returnable on the basis that the PA is received back from hire in good condition, with all cables folded away, ready for it's next use.

The system can basically be split into 2 main functions : System 1 is a typical vocal PA which would consist of 2 mid/high speakers, 2 powered monitors, Spirit mixing desk, mics, leads etc - this would comfortably fit into a standard family car.
System 2 would incorporate 2 mid/high speaker plus 2 sub-bass speakers with interconnecting poles, 3 monitors, multicore and Spirit mixing desk and all relevant mics, cables etc. This system would be rated at 2kW in total, and would require an estate car or small van in order to be transported comfortably.

Terms & Conditions of Hiring

1. The Hirer is responsible for collecting and returning the equipment from a designated, pre-arranged location.
2. The Hirer must be a fully paid up member of the HDLMA.
3. The Hirer will accept responsibility for any damage or theft incurred whilst the equipment is on hire.
4. The Hirer will use the equipment for its intended purpose and not for personal financial gain.
5. The Hirer must supply details of the premises at which the equipment is to be used.
6. The Hirer must supply one form of ID with his or her address on plus HDLMA membership card prior to hiring the equipment.
